How Price Discovery Works
Markets find fair price through an auction process - buyers push up, sellers push down, and trading settles where both sides agree. Market Profile captures this process visually, showing where price spent the most time and where it moved through quickly during a session.
Value Area and Point of Control
The Value Area is the price range where about 70% of trading happened. The Point of Control (POC) is the single price with the most activity. If price trades above the Value Area, buyers are in control. If it trades below, sellers dominate. These zones act as natural support and resistance.
